Schoolfundr supports any type of fundraiser, including a-thon fundraisers, in which students engage in a specific event and donations are provided based on their performance. For example, at a walk-a-thon fundraiser, donors can donate a specific amount per lap walked by a student in a specific period of time. It is completely customizable, to fit your needs and help you raise even more money to your cause.

Schoolfundr.org is fully integrated with social media platforms, making it easy to share your fundraising campaigns with your network. You can share your fundraisers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to encourage your followers to donate and share your campaign with their friends. You can also share your fundraiser with just one click via email, SMS or WhatsApp, spreading the word to raise more, faster.

How does it work

Schoolfundr is designed for you to create your fundraiser and start raising money without the hassle. Because our tools are made specifically for school communities, it takes less than 10 minutes to set up your personalized fundraising page. You can also add Participants to your fundraiser, and each of them will get their own donation page, so that family and friends can support directly from their page.

Once your fundraiser is ready for primetime, Schoolfundr makes it easy for you to share and engage your community through your fundraiser. You can easily send updates, thank you notes, and share your campaign on multiple social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). You can also start sharing  your fundraiser via email and SMS with just a click of a button to quickly spread the word.

You can track your progress as well as your participant's from your Admin dashboard. Schoolfundr provides detailed reports on your fundraiser page, tracking metrics like page visits, number of donations, average donation and percentage of target.

Once you reach your goal, you can easily withdraw your funds via electronic bank transfer or have a physical check mailed. For a bank transfer, you simply just need to connect your bank account to Stripe, our payment processor. Get your money quickly and securely.

How much does it cost?

Unlike other online platforms, Schoolfundr is completely FREE! No subscriptions or service fees. On top of that, you can use Schoolfundr to keep track of offline cash and check donations at no charge, just enter them to your fundraiser dashboard and have all your progress tracked in one place.

A standard credit card processing fee from the payment processor (Stripe) is subtracted from each donation typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. With Stripe, your funds are securely held until they are deposited into your account at the end of your fundraiser.
